What it’s like

A three tier frame with a 4.2 metre wavy astro slide and a high glide over an invisible floor to keep the over-fives busy.

The big draw here is the astro slide, three lanes and 4.2 metres of wavy drop, plus a glide that takes you four metres up over what they call an invisible floor. That's the bit a seven-year-old will want to do on repeat before you even think about leaving. The three tier play frame and ball shower fill in the rest, and there's a separate under-5s area if you've got a toddler who isn't ready for the big stuff yet.

Under 1s go free, which is a nice touch, and everyone else is £6.50 on weekdays or £8.50 at weekends and school holidays. That weekend jump feels steep for what's still a soft play session, so a Tuesday visit is the better value if your week allows it. There's a Play and Eat deal on weekday afternoons in term time for £9, which bundles food in and is worth it if you're picking up from school and heading straight there.

It's all indoors, so a rainy Saturday isn't a problem, and there's a café on site for the inevitable chips-and-a-flat-white combo while the kids go again. Opening hours run from 9:30am on weekdays and 10am at weekends, both to 6pm, giving you a decent stretch of the day either way.
