What it’s like
Multi-level soft play with a three-storey tube slide, a four-lane wavy slide and trampolines to burn a Saturday morning on.
The big structure is the obvious draw here, three storeys of tube slide plus a four-lane wavy slide that'll have a seven or eight-year-old climbing back up the moment they land. There's a ball pool with a shower feature, trampolines, football and basketball, and arcade games with claw machines for when their legs finally give out. Under-3s get their own separate play frame, so a toddler isn't getting flattened by kids twice their size on the main climb.
Pricing rewards planning. Anyone over a year old is £10.45, adults £1.75, which adds up fast for a family of four. If you've got a toddler and can get there Monday to Friday before 11.30am, term time only, it drops to £6.25, a decent saving if your week allows a weekday morning trip. That window disappears in school holidays and on bank holidays, so don't bank on it in August.
It's open every day, Thursday's the late one until 7pm, Sunday's the shortest day finishing at 5.30. There's an on-site café doing snacks and meals, and free toddler dance classes and a cooking club if you're after something other than climbing. Parking's free on site, which takes the edge off the entry price a bit. One genuine faff: it's card only, no cash, so don't turn up expecting to pay with coins for the arcade machines.
Birthday parties run from £13.50 a child for the standard package up to £24.95 for a private do, with food built into the price, nuggets, chips, pizza, fruit and an ice lolly. VIP parties get a Friday or Saturday evening slot from 6.15 to 8.15pm if you want the place a bit quieter.
