What it’s like

Cuban tapas, cocktails and salsa lessons, with kids eating for £1 during half term.

This one's more about the parents fancying a proper meal out than a dedicated kids' venue, but the half term deal makes it worth knowing about. Buy a main and your child eats for £1, which takes the sting out of a night that's otherwise built around cocktails and Cuban tapas. There's a menu of 43 vegetarian dishes too, so fussy eaters and grown-ups with different tastes aren't fighting over the same three options.

The other thing on offer is salsa lessons and social dancing, plus live music, which could be a fun novelty for older kids who fancy learning a few moves rather than sitting through a standard dinner. It's not really pitched at little ones, more a place where a family with older children could have a livelier evening than the usual restaurant trip.

Bookings aren't required but they're recommended, since tables only get held for an hour and forty five minutes unless your confirmation says otherwise. If you're going as a bigger group or for something like a Bottomless Brunch, expect to put down a 20% deposit or your card details when you enquire. The site's wheelchair accessible and there's wifi if anyone needs to keep half an eye on something else while the salsa's going on.

Plan your visit

How much does it cost for kids?

Kids eat for £1 during half term, as long as you buy a main meal alongside it.

Do we need to book a table?

You don't have to, but they recommend it as tables go quickly. Without a booking you're taking your chances on a walk-in.

How long do we get at the table?

An hour and forty five minutes unless your booking confirmation says something different. If you want longer you'd need to contact the bar directly.

Is there a deposit to pay?

For bigger bookings like Bottomless Brunch or a Premium Booth, they ask for a 20% deposit or your card details when you enquire.

What's there for kids to actually do?

There are salsa lessons and social dancing alongside the live music, which could suit an older child more than a toddler.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible.
