What it’s like
Kids learn aerial hoop, silks and pole moves in proper classes, plus birthday parties with acrobatics thrown in.
This is a proper aerial and pole studio, not a soft play with a bit of climbing frame bolted on. Flying Kids classes get children up on the hoop and silks, and there's a Kids Mixed Aerial and Pole Sport class too, so if your child's been begging to try the stuff they see on gymnastics telly, this is where they actually do it.
A single Flying Kids session is £9.99, or you can get a block of four for £36.25, which works out cheaper if you think they'll stick with it. Booking is essential, not a suggestion. The site is clear that turning up on spec risks the class being cancelled for lack of bookings, and once you've booked you're on a 24 hour cancellation policy, cancel later than that and you lose the class outright. That's a faff if a Saturday morning suddenly gets derailed by a poorly tummy.
There are a couple of rules worth knowing before you go. No socks during aerial work, since they make grips slippier, and jewellery comes off too, rings and watches can catch on the fabric or ropes. Cotton clothing like joggers and t-shirts works better than anything synthetic, which the studio flags as a common reason people keep sliding off.
For a birthday, the studio runs two hour parties with dance and acrobatics at £20 per child, minimum six kids, and the birthday child goes free with a gift bag. Opening hours stretch late most weekdays, up to 21:30 Monday to Friday, with shorter Saturday and Sunday hours if you're planning around nap times or lunch.

How much does a class cost?
A single Flying Kids session is £9.99. Block passes work out cheaper, four classes comes to £36.25.
Do we need to book in advance?
You do. Classes can be cancelled if there aren't enough bookings, so turning up on the day is a gamble.
What happens if we need to cancel?
There's a 24 hour cancellation policy. Cancel later than that and you lose the class.
What should my child wear?
Cotton clothing like joggers or t-shirts works best. Synthetic or polyester fabric tends to be slippy on the equipment.
Can they wear socks?
Socks aren't allowed for aerial classes as they cause slips. Warm up is done barefoot, though socks might be asked for on specific moves.
What about jewellery?
Rings, watches and belt buckles need to come off before training. They can tear silks, fray ropes, or affect grip on the hoop.
Do you do birthday parties?
Two hour parties with dance and acrobatics, £20 a child with a minimum of six. The birthday child goes free and gets a gift bag.
What are the opening hours?
Monday, Wednesday and Friday it's 11am to 9.30pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 10am. Weekends are shorter, 9am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 4.30pm Sunday.
Is there a self-led option if my child already trains?
There's an Individual Training self-led session at £8, or a Supervised Individual Training slot at £8.50 if they'd rather have someone keeping an eye.
How many classes can we book at once?
There are passes for 4, 6, 8, 10 or even 22 classes on the adult side, and a 4-class Flying Kids pass, so you can commit to a block once you know they're keen.
