What it’s like
Big soft play frame, a toddler-only corner, and glow discos or laser tag if you're doing a party.
The main frame is where the over-fives will vanish to, and the under-threes get their own separate Baby and Toddler Area so nobody gets flattened by a bigger kid mid-slide. If a birthday's the plan, there's laser tag and a glow disco on offer too, which beats the standard soft play party by a mile.
Socks are compulsory on the equipment and shoes come off first, so bring a pair or buy them at reception. On busy days play time gets capped at two hours, which is worth knowing if you were planning a lazy all-afternoon sprawl on the sofas. Food is the other catch: only what you buy from the Play Valley café gets eaten on site, baby food aside, so pack lunches stay in the car.
There's a proper café for hot and cold food and free WiFi if you need to sit one out with a coffee. The place is wheelchair accessible throughout with disabled toilets and parking near the entrance, and staff will bring food to your table if getting up and down with a wheelchair is a faff. Doncaster also runs monthly SEN sessions with the lighting down, no music or announcements, and relaxed age rules, at £6 a child with parents going free.
It's for the under-12s only, so this isn't one you can stretch into the teenage years. Parents stay responsible for their own kids throughout, which is standard for soft play but worth knowing if you were hoping to get a coffee in peace while they run wild unsupervised.

Plan your visit
How much does it cost?
Prices aren't broken down beyond the deals: the Monday to Friday Play and Eat deal is £10 a child from 2pm and includes 2 hours of play plus a kids' meal. SEN sessions are £6 a child with parents going free.
Is it OK for a toddler?
There's a Baby and Toddler Area kept separate from the main frame, for under-threes only. The bigger frame is for the 12-and-unders, so little ones aren't dodging older kids.
Do we need to book?
That's not something they've made clear, so it's safest to just turn up and ask on the day, especially for the Play and Eat deal times.
Can we bring our own food?
No, only food bought from the Play Valley café can be eaten there. Baby food and specific dietary needs are the only exceptions.
How long do people stay?
Play time can be capped at two hours when it's busy, which is also how the Play and Eat deal is structured anyway.
What about wheelchair access?
Wheelchair accessible throughout with clear walkways, disabled toilets with room for a carer, and disabled parking near the entrance. Staff can bring food to your table if you'd rather not queue at the counter.
Do you do birthday parties?
Super Play Parties start from £12 a child for 2 hours play, buffet, dessert, drinks and invitations, with one free adult per paying guest. There are also glow and laser tag party options and exclusive hire.
What if my child has sensory needs?
Staff can set up a quieter space during any normal session if you ask, and there are monthly SEN sessions with lowered lighting, no music or announcements, and relaxed age rules.
