What it’s like

Drop-in dance classes for kids from age 3, in a studio with more than 40 styles on offer across the week.

Kids' drop-in classes run on Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays, with workshops aimed at the 6 to 17 age group. The studio lists over 40 dance styles on its books, so there's proper range once your child fancies trying something beyond the basics. From age 3 they can join in, and classes are pitched from absolute beginner up, so nobody needs to have danced before.

Booking has to happen in advance through the app or website, up to six days ahead for regular classes, with courses and kids' workshops open for booking further out. It's worth getting there ten minutes early, though the site is honest that studios run fully booked most days.

There's no on-site parking on Langley Street itself, and vehicle access there is restricted to 7am-11am Monday to Saturday, so anyone driving needs the car park on the corner of Endell Street and Shelton Street instead. It's also inside the congestion charge zone on weekdays. Covent Garden tube is two minutes' walk, which makes the tube the easier option if you're coming from most of London.

Birthdays get their own treatment: kids' dance parties start from £165 for a private lesson, with proper party rooms on site rather than a corner of a hall.
