What it’s like
An under-5s soft play spot with an 8-foot ball pit, double slide and a dedicated sensory room.
This one's built for the very small. Everything on the list, the ball pit with its double slide, the toddler bouncy castle, the white play frame, the soft play area, is sized for under-fives, so you won't spend the visit hauling a toddler out of the way of a nine-year-old on a scooter. There's a sensory room too, which is handy if you've got a little one who needs a quieter corner when the main room gets loud.
Sessions run 1.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 3:30pm. A child over 12 months is £6, under 12 months £5, and two siblings together come to £10, which is a fair saving if you're bringing more than one. Extra adults are £1 each, which is a nice touch when so many places charge grown-ups the full whack just to sit and watch.
Capacity is limited and walk-ins aren't guaranteed a spot, so booking online ahead is the sensible move if you've got your heart set on a particular morning. It's a small operation by the sound of it, which probably explains the strict numbers, but it also means it won't feel like a scrum.
