WHERE
London
What it’s like
A live music pub with gigs seven nights a week, pizzas and a proper drinks list, but strictly a teens-and-up venue, not a family day out.
This one's for the older teens rather than the kids, so worth flagging straight away: it's a pub with live bands on every night of the week, from 6pm through to the small hours. Fourteen is the minimum age they list, so this isn't somewhere to bring a primary schooler along to hear some music.
What's on offer is exactly what you'd want from a proper gig pub: pizzas including a vegan option, and a decent spread of ales, ciders, wines, cocktails and spirits behind the bar. It's card only, so don't turn up expecting to pay cash for a round or a slice.
Hours run late. Monday to Thursday it's open till 3am, Friday and Saturday till 4am, and even Sunday goes on till 2am, so this is very much an evening and night-time spot rather than an afternoon-out one. If you've got a fourteen or fifteen-year-old who's into music and you're going with them, you're looking at a proper late one, not a quick after-school trip.
