What it’s like
An after-school and holiday club for 5 to 15s, mixing homework help with board games and a run out to the play park.
This one's less about entertaining kids and more about giving them a proper base after school or in the holidays. There's a big indoor area with toys, books and games to dig into, and staff take groups over to the nearby play park too, so it's not all sat indoors under strip lighting.
Homework gets a look-in as well. If your child is stuck on maths, science or English, there's support on hand for it, which makes this a step up from a standard after-school babysit if you've got a nine-year-old who needs a hand with times tables before tea.
Term time it runs Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 7:00pm. In the holidays it switches to a longer 10am to 5pm day, Monday to Friday, though it shuts for bank holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year, which is worth knowing if you're planning round it. Weekends it's closed altogether.
Ages run from 5 to 15.
