This one's for the grown-ups. Lucy's Pop Choir is an 18+ singing group, and they mean that literally as a way in rather than a barrier: there's no audition, so it doesn't matter if you think you can hold a tune or you're fairly sure you can't. You just turn up and give it a go.
The age range is the interesting bit. They say members run from 18 right up past 60. It meets during term time, 38 weeks of the year, with breaks for half terms, Christmas, Easter and summer.
Money-wise, your first session is free, which takes the pressure off deciding before you've actually stood in the room. After that it's a monthly payment, kept deliberately simple, or you can pay annually and get 10% off if you know you're staying. Booking ahead is needed, so this isn't a turn-up-on-the-night sort of choir.
