What it’s like

Climbing walls, high ropes and an indoor dome for group bookings and special open days, not a daily walk-in venue.

This one's built around climbing walls, high and mid-ropes courses, and an indoor dome for when the weather's against you. It's not a place you can just turn up to though. The site's moved away from daily drop-ins for the general public, so your visit needs to line up with a group booking or one of their special open days.

That's a bit of a faff if you were hoping to swing by on a Saturday morning, but it does mean the sessions that do run get a proper focus rather than a free-for-all. Group bookings and special events run all year round, so if you're organising for a school group, a party or similar, there's flexibility outside the usual calendar.

The Community Café reopens on Thursdays from 1st October 2026, running 10am to 2pm, so that's your window for food and a coffee on café days. Outside of that you'd be relying on whatever's arranged as part of your booking or event.

If you fancy something seasonal, there's a Bonfire Night event pencilled in for Saturday 7th November, running 5pm to 8pm, which sounds like the sort of evening slot worth grabbing early given how open days here tend to work.
