What it’s like
Trapeze, aerial hoop and silks classes that build up to a mini show for an audience.
This is circus training, properly done, not a soft play with a bit of rope hanging from the ceiling. Kids work on trapeze, aerial hoop, aerial rope and aerial silks, the sort of skills that take weeks to build rather than an afternoon to master, and the site lists mini shows where the group gets to perform what they have learned.
There are Saturday classes for the regular weekly commitment, and holiday clubs for the school breaks if you need somewhere for a few days running. Both routes end up at the same place: proper circus skills, not just a go on the equipment.
Birthday parties are on offer too, so instead of the usual soft play do, you could have a trapeze-themed one. School visits and group bookings are catered for as well, which suggests this works as well for a one-off trip as it does for a term of Saturday mornings.
There is no getting away from the fact that aerial skills need proper supervision and structure, so this will suit a child who likes following instruction and building a skill over time more than one who wants to turn up and bounce around freely for an hour.
