What it’s like

Two hours of soft play, a dance stage and a basketball hoop, with free parking for well over a thousand cars.

The soft play area is the main event, but the dance stage and basketball hoop are what get mentioned first, they're not your standard soft play add-ons. It's a set-up that works for a birthday crowd as much as a rainy Tuesday visit, and at £5 for a two-hour child's session it's one of the cheaper options going.

There's a height restriction of around 4ft 5 inches, so this is aimed squarely at the smaller end of the school-age range rather than a spot for older siblings to tag along and dominate the frame. Sessions are timed at two hours, which is enough for most kids to hit the dance stage, have a go at basketball and still get stuck into the soft play proper before flagging.

Parking isn't the worry here. They've got space for over 1600 vehicles on site, free, which is more than you'll find at most soft play centres in Glasgow. Picnics are allowed too, so you can bring your own snacks rather than relying on whatever's on offer inside.

Opening hours differ across the week, running to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and 5pm on Sundays, and both booking ahead and just turning up are fine. Parties run Monday to Friday afternoons and Sunday mornings, so if you're after a weekend slot for a party, Sunday 11am to 2pm is your window.
