What it’s like
Weekly trampolining and gymnastics classes for pre-schoolers right up to adults, with a £7 taster to try before you commit.
This is a proper gymnastics and trampolining club rather than a bounce-and-go session, so classes are structured and run weekly. There's a pre-school offering for the really small ones, plus gymnastics and trampolining classes that take beginners of any age, which makes it as much an option for an adult wanting to try something new as it is for a four-year-old finding their feet.
You can't just turn up. Every session, including the £7 taster, needs booking in advance, which is a bit of a faff if you're the sort who decides on a whim on a Saturday morning, but it does mean classes aren't overcrowded. Once you're past the taster, membership runs £25 a month for a one hour class a week, which is a fair price for regular coaching rather than a one-off soft play visit.
There's a kit list worth knowing before you go: socks are compulsory for anyone trampolining, jewellery has to come off, and long hair needs tying back. None of that is unusual for gymnastics but it's easy to forget on the way out the door.
Birthday parties are gymnastics-led too, an hour of activity followed by half an hour in the party area, starting at £150 for 15 children. Parking is free, which takes one thing off the list when you're juggling kit bags and small children.
