Free Camden city farm - UK's first - with goats, ponies and weekend animal sessions for families.
Kentish Town City Farm is the UK's first city farm (1972) - four acres of goats, sheep, pigs, cow Shirley, donkeys and small animals tucked beside the railway in Camden. Free entry every day 9am-5pm, no booking for groups under eight.
Kids under eight need an adult with them. Weekend pony rides are ticketed only (age 4+, under 50kg). Pet Club and animal encounters run on set slots - check the site before you go.
1 Cressfield Close, NW5 4BN. Gospel Oak Overground is the easy hop. Donations in the red postbox keep the charity going.
