Jungle Monkeys

What it’s like

Two-hour play sessions for under-sixes with themed events, food on site and babies under six months in free.

This one's built for the really small ones. It's a play session rather than a big soft play frame, aimed squarely at under-sixes, with the site talking about socialising, communication and learning through play rather than just letting them loose on slides. There are themed events and classes too, so it's worth a look if you want more than a straight play session.

You get two hours, which for a toddler or a pre-schooler is about the right amount of time before everyone's had enough. At £5.95 for ages one to six it's not going to break the bank, and under sixes months go free, which is a nice touch if you've got a baby in tow along with an older one. Under ones are £1.50, and adults get in free.

There's food and hot and cold drinks on site. It's breastfeeding friendly too, which matters more than it should have to when you're weighing up somewhere to take a baby.

With the top age at six, this isn't one for older siblings who'll want more of a challenge, but for the age range it's aimed at, two hours of play and a bit of socialising is plenty.
