Soft play is the main event here, and the two hour sessions aren't as strict as they sound, since bookings aren't limited to that stated duration and you can stay on if things are going well. There's music and dancing worked into the day, festive games when the season's right, and sensory play for the ones who'd rather poke at things than climb them.
If you've got a very small one, Sophie's Tiny Tots is the better bet at £11, a calmer setup away from the bigger climbers. It's £12 for standard soft play, which isn't pocket change for a couple of hours, but early morning parties come in at just £4 and are worth grabbing if your child's up with the birds anyway.
Parties run in the Jungle Room or the Disco Room, an hour and a half, £13 a head. That Christmas week rate of £5.40 for Tiny Tots is the one to watch for if your visit lands in December, since it's a fraction of the usual price.
Parking's free, which takes one cost worry off the table. Opening is 9.30 to 5.30 on weekdays and a slightly later 10 to 5.30 start at weekends, so a weekday morning session is your quietest bet if you can manage it.
