What it’s like
A free outdoor skatepark with a mini ramp, a bowled-out end, banked pump track and a quarter pipe to session.
This is a proper skate layout rather than a couple of ramps bolted together. There's a mini ramp that runs into an extended bowled-out end, a banked section with its own pump track, and a transitioned quarter pipe for anyone working on airs or just carving. It's outdoors and free to use, so there's no entry fee to factor in and no session times to plan around.
The bowled-out end is the bit that'll get the most attention if your kid's past the beginner stage, it's the kind of feature that takes a few visits to get comfortable with. The pump track section is a decent spot for younger or newer riders to build speed without needing much skill on ramps yet.
One thing to flag plainly: the skatepark doesn't enforce helmets or safety gear. That's fine if your child already skates and has their own kit and habits, but it does mean you're the one setting the rule, not a member of staff on a gate. Bring pads and a helmet if that's what you'd normally insist on, because nobody here is going to ask.
Plan your visit
Is it free to use?
Yes, there's no entry charge.
Do you need to book?
No booking, you just turn up.
Do they provide or check for helmets and pads?
Safety equipment isn't required or enforced here, so it's down to you to bring it and set the rule for your own kid.
What's actually there to ride?
A mini ramp leading into a bowled-out end, a banked pump track section, and a transitioned quarter pipe.
Is it suitable for a beginner?
The pump track section is the easier bit to start on. The bowled-out end and quarter pipe suit riders with a bit more experience.
