What it’s like

Soft play and a separate role play village under one roof, with a combo ticket if your child wants both.

Two different things going on here. There's the soft play side for climbing and sliding, and a role play area that's more about dressing up and pretend shops and kitchens than bouncing around. If your child can't decide, there's a combo ticket that splits an hour between the two, which feels like the sensible option if you've got a five-year-old who wants to do everything.

Sessions are 90 minutes for soft play, and it's first come, first served, so no booking faff if you just fancy turning up. Role play runs in its own 90 minute slots though, and booking ahead is recommended there, which makes sense given it's a smaller, more contained space. Prices step up with age, from £5.50 for under twos up to £8.95 for the 4 to 10s, and an extra adult is £2.95 if more than one of you wants in.

Socks are compulsory on the play equipment, so bring your own or expect to buy a pair, and anyone under three needs a grown-up right beside them because of the small toys around. There's a cafe on site doing homemade food and hot drinks, so you're not stuck bringing your own snacks or hovering by a vending machine. Tickets are non-refundable and they ask for 24 hours notice if you need to switch a session, which is worth knowing before you commit to a Saturday slot.

Birthday parties are clearly a big part of what they do, with options across soft play, role play, or both, plus food included in the party packages. Anyone unwell, or who has been recently, is asked to stay away for 48 hours, which is a fair rule in a room full of climbing frames and toddlers.

Plan your visit

How much does it cost?

£5.50 for under twos, £7.95 for 2 to 3 year olds and £8.95 for 4 to 10s, all for 90 minutes of soft play. Role play is £8.50, and the combo ticket covering both is £13.

Do we need to book?

Soft play is first come, first served, so you can just turn up. Role play runs in timed sessions and they recommend booking ahead for that one.

What ages is it suitable for?

Soft play covers 0 to 10 years, and the role play area is aimed at under 7s.

Can we do both soft play and role play in one visit?

Yes, there's a combo ticket giving an hour of each for £13, under 7s only.

Is there food on site?

There's a cafe serving homemade dishes along with hot and cold drinks. Party packages come with a kids food menu included.

Do you run birthday parties?

Parties are available across soft play, role play or the combination, with food included and a minimum of 10 guests for the ticketed packages.

What if my child is under 3?

They're welcome in soft play from any age, but under threes need direct supervision because of small toys in the space.

Do we need our own socks?

Socks have to be worn at all times on the equipment. You can buy a pair there or use shoe coverings if you forget.

Can we get a refund if plans change?

Tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer to a different session if you give 24 hours notice.

Can we bring our own snacks in?

Food, drinks or chewing gum are allowed in the play space itself, so save the snacks for the cafe area.
