What it’s like
Themed indoor play across Ancient Egypt, Jurassic and Roman zones, with a four-lane wavy slide and a proper baby zone too.
The whole place is built round themed zones rather than one big frame. There's an Ancient Egypt bit, a Jurassic zone, a solar system section and a Roman theme, plus a 3D maze that plays with light and reflection illusions to properly confuse a seven-year-old for a good ten minutes. The four-lane wavy slide is the one they'll bring up in the car home.
Babies and toddlers get their own space away from the bigger kids. The Baby Zone has soft toys and baby gyms for the ones not walking yet, and the Toddler Zone is built for sensory exploration rather than climbing and jumping. There's even a dedicated toddler session three mornings a week with juice and toast included, which is a nice touch if you want a calmer start to the day rather than diving into the full 10am to 5pm opening.
Pricing works on age bands: a 1 to 3 year old with an adult is £8.50, a 4 to 11 year old with an adult is £9.50, and extra adults are £2.50 each. Weekends and school holidays need booking online, and it's non-refundable if plans change, so only book what you're sure of. Midweek you can generally walk in, and Monday, Thursday and Friday afternoons run a cheaper all-ages session at £6.50.
Food has to stay in the café, not the play frames, and it's a nut-free zone, which is worth bearing in mind if allergies are a factor for you. The café itself does proper food, burgers, wraps, salads, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. Birthday parties get a themed room and 90 minutes of play from £14 a child, though the £40 deposit doesn't come back if you cancel.
