What it’s like

A five-a-side court, sensory play sessions and interactive darts under one roof, with football parties from £11.50 a head.

The football party is the headline act here: an hour and a half on a proper 5-a-side court, then a meal and squash thrown in for £11.50 a child. That's decent value for a party that actually tires them out before the cake comes round, rather than twenty minutes of chaos and a sausage roll.

Away from the party bookings, there are sensory room play sessions if you've got a child who needs a calmer, quieter space rather than a football to boot around, and interactive social darts for the ones old enough to take a turn without putting an eye out. There's also Project Inc, a disability football programme for young people and adults, which is a nice thing to see on a facilities list rather than bolted on as an afterthought.

Food-wise you're covered properly: a fully licensed bar alongside a family-friendly café doing pizzas, burgers, light bites and barista coffee, so it's not just crisps and squash if the grown-ups fancy a proper sit-down. Parking's free, which takes the sting out of the party fee a bit.

Opening hours are generous, 9am to 9pm most of the week and 9am to 5pm on Sundays.
