What it’s like
DJ, photo booth and special effects hire to book for a birthday party or celebration, from £499.
This one's for the party planning end of things rather than a venue you turn up to. Hotshots supply the entertainment: a DJ for the dancing, a photo booth with a guest book and games built in, an audio guestbook if you want guests leaving voice messages instead, and a 360 video booth for the inevitable slow-motion spins. There's also cold sparks, the special effects finish some people save for a first dance or a big reveal moment.
Packages start from £499, which sits at the higher end for a party add-on, though it covers proper kit rather than a speaker and a laptop. Pricing shifts by location and date, so what you're quoted depends on where and when you're holding things. A 30% booking fee secures your date, and there's a minimum £10 travel fee on top, which is easy to miss if you're only looking at the headline price.
Because it's hire-in entertainment, it slots into whatever party you're already throwing rather than being the venue itself. Worth deciding early which bits you actually want, since the DJ, the photo booth and the video booth all seem to be booked as separate elements rather than one fixed bundle.
