What it’s like
A full day of zip lines, giant swing and mountain boarding for kids eight and up, run gates-open to 4pm.
This one's built for the eight-plus crowd who've had enough of soft play and want something with a bit of height and speed to it. The zip line and giant swing are the obvious headline acts, but there's also high wire challenges, a crate stack challenge and mountain boarding, plus bushcraft and baking with a chef for when everyone needs a breather. It's a proper full day out, gates open at 8.45am and the site runs 9am to 4pm, so pack like you're sending them to school, not to a soft play session for an hour.
At £48 a day it's not pocket change, though booking three days together brings it down to £135, which works out better if the school holidays stretch on and you need somewhere for them more than once. There's no minimum age listed beyond 8, so this isn't one for a mixed group with a younger sibling in tow, you'd need a separate plan for them.
Parking's free and there's plenty of it, which is one less thing to think about on the morning. Access is decent too, with disabled access to all buildings, an accessible toilet and a motorised buggy on site if that helps anyone get around.
Birthday parties get exclusive use of a cosy cabin for cake afterwards, with the same outdoor activities on offer, and Saturdays are bookable if you fancy swapping the usual bowling-alley party for a zip line instead.
