What it’s like

Free play on trampolines, the foam pit and gymnastics kit for pre-schoolers up to teens, from £6 a session.

Mini Fun sessions are for the pre-school crowd, ninety minutes on the sprung floor, the pit trampolines and the ride-ons with someone keeping an eye throughout. Older kids get Fun n Bound and Jump Fit, which mix free bouncing with gymnastics circuits and games on the DMT, so a seven-year-old who just wants to launch into foam gets that, and one who fancies a bit of structure gets that too. There's a Parkour Workshop if your kid's more interested in vaulting off things than bouncing on them.

Sessions are cheap as these things go, £6 for most of the kids' slots, though the adult trampoline and gymnastics sessions jump to £10. Everything needs booking ahead, which is a bit of a faff if you're the type who decides on a whim at 9am that today's a trampoline day, but the opening hours are scattered across the week in short windows rather than one long daily stretch, so you'll want to check the slot before you turn up. Socks are compulsory on the trampolines, so pack a pair.

Birthday parties run £175 and get you an hour of activity plus squash and water for the kids, with slots on Saturday afternoon and three on Sunday. Food isn't part of the package though. The reception area has a bench and table for snacks, which does the job but isn't exactly a party spread.

It's a short walk from Uckfield's bus and train station, about three or four minutes along Bell Lane.
