What it’s like
Dodgems, drift trikes and a drop slide under one roof, with a toddler soft play area if the little one's not ready for the big stuff.
This one's got more going on than your average trampoline park. Yes, there are trampolines, but the list of attractions runs to dodgems, a roller rink, laser tag, a ninja playground and drift trikes, plus a drop slide that'll be the thing your kids talk about on the way home. Under-fives get their own toddler soft play area, so you're not trying to keep a wobbly two-year-old out of the way of a nine-year-old on a drift trike.
Speaking of which, the drift trikes have a 1.2m height rule, so check that before you promise a smaller one a go. Closed toe shoes are needed for some attractions and they recommend full length clothing on the slide, which is a fair bit of prep for a session that's only an hour or two long. Sessions run at 1 or 2 hours, and you're asked to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for check-in, which eats into your time if you're not paying attention.
Cost is where it gets a bit fiddly. A standard 2 hour session is £18.95 at weekends and school holidays, but term-time off-peak it drops to £12, and there's a family pass for four people at £64.95 for 2 hours that works out cheaper than paying separately. Walk-in prices are higher than booking ahead. Stay & Play for the under-fives is £5.50, with adults getting in for £2, and it runs midweek until 3pm.
Parking's free at the Lower Precinct Shopping Centre car park, which is one less thing to budget for. Birthday parties need a minimum of 10 guests.
