What it’s like
Interactive darts with a scoreboard doing the maths, open to families with kids from 12 until mid afternoon.
This is darts, but not as you remember it from the back of a pub. The oche has screens above it running the games and keeping score, so nobody needs to be any good at maths or aim to join in. Social Darts is the main event and it works for a 12-year-old having their first go just as well as an adult who fancies themselves as a bit handy with a dart.
The catch is timing. Family sessions run Sunday to Friday until 4:30pm, and kids aged 12 to 17 can only play if there's an adult with them. Under-12s are allowed in during those same hours but they're stuck at a bar table with the grown-ups rather than throwing anything, which is worth knowing before you promise a nine-year-old a go. After 4:30pm on weekdays, and all day Saturday, it switches to an 18+ venue, so a Saturday trip is out if you've got the kids in tow.
Social Darts is £10 a head, and walk-ins are allowed for food and drinks, but they'd rather you booked a lane ahead of time, especially if you're going at a busy point in the day. There's a full kitchen doing tacos, sliders and sharing pizzas, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options on the menu, plus a proper bar for the adults once the kids have had their throws. No outside food is allowed in, so that packed lunch stays in the bag.
Birthday parties are welcome and you can flag a special treat when you book, balloons are fine as long as they stay away from the board, though banners can't go up on the walls. If you're planning a bigger group, check the minimum numbers apply after 4pm on weekdays and all day Saturday, which can catch out a smaller family group hoping to just rock up.

How much does it cost?
Social Darts is £10 a person. Food and drinks are extra on top of that.
Do we need to book?
Walk-ins are fine for food and drinks, but they recommend booking a lane for Social Darts, especially at busy times. Book ahead if you want to guarantee a game rather than just a table.
Is this OK for younger kids?
Kids aged 12 to 17 can play Social Darts if an adult is with them, but only during Family Sessions, which run Sunday to Friday until 4:30pm. Under-12s can come along but have to stay seated at a bar table rather than playing.
Can we go on a Saturday?
Not with children. Saturdays are 18+ all day, so Family Sessions only run Sunday to Friday until 4:30pm.
What's there to eat?
A full kitchen menu of tacos, sliders and sharing pizzas, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. No outside food or drink is allowed in.
Can we book a birthday party there?
Yes, birthday parties are welcome and you can add a note for a special treat when booking. Balloons are fine away from the dartboard, but banners can't go on the walls.
What if we need to cancel a booking?
They ask for 48 hours notice if you want to cancel or postpone. Cancel later than that and the gaming fee isn't refunded.
