What it’s like
Tech-tracked darts with a screen calling the rules, and a proper family window before the venue turns 18+ for the night.
This is darts with the boring bit taken out. The oche has a camera and a screen above it running the game and the scoring, so you don't need anyone in your group who actually knows how to play. From what they list, families get their own area, and there's a free video replay of your best (or worst) throw to embarrass someone with on the way home.
The catch, and it's a proper one, is timing. Kids from 12 up can play, but only Sunday to Friday until 4:30pm, and only with an adult. After that the whole place goes 18+, so this is very much a daytime plan, not a Friday night one. Saturdays don't get a family window at all.
Food is pizzas and sharing plates, served from half eleven, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. No outside food or drink gets past the door, which is worth knowing if you were planning to bring your own snacks for a fussy eater. Walk-ins are allowed but they're upfront that they can't guarantee you a table or an oche without booking ahead, and if you're going later in the week or on a Saturday there's a minimum group size to even book, which rules out a spontaneous two-person visit.
Access is the other thing to flag before you go. Wheelchair access is restricted because of the building itself, and while there's a powered stair climber, it only works for guests who can stand unaided.

Plan your visit
Can kids actually play, or is this an adults thing?
Anyone 12 and up can play Social Darts, but only Sunday to Friday until 4:30pm and with an adult in the group. After that it switches to 18+, and Saturdays are 18+ all day.
Do we need to book?
Walk-ins are welcome, especially for food, but they can't promise you'll get an oche without booking ahead, particularly at peak times.
Is there a minimum group size?
From 4pm on weekdays and all day Saturday, yes. It's 4 guests from 4pm Monday and Tuesday, and 6 guests from 4pm Wednesday to Friday and all day Saturday.
What's there to eat?
Pizzas and sharing plates, served from 11:30am until at least 10pm, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Can we bring our own food or drink?
No, outside food and drink aren't allowed in the venue.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Access is restricted because of the building. There's a powered stair climber, but it only suits guests who can stand unaided.
Can we do a birthday here?
Mention it when you book and they'll sort a treat for the birthday guest. Balloons are fine away from the board, but banners can't go on the walls.
