What it’s like

A club with pools, tennis coaching and a crèche, so the kids can swim or hit a few balls while you get a workout in too.

This isn't a soft play centre in the usual sense, it's a health club with a proper stack of things for kids to do. There's tennis coaching, swimming lessons, both indoor and outdoor pools, and a Kids Club and crèche if you need somewhere for them to be while you train. Battlebox Play sessions are pitched as family fitness, so it's not just sit-and-watch for the grown-ups either.

The swimming is probably the bit kids remember most, especially with an outdoor pool in the mix, that's not something every club bothers with. REBELS BLAZE cycling classes are listed as family sessions too, which is a nice option if you've got older children who fancy something a bit more structured than a splash about. The Parental Supervised Gym Programme is for ages 10 and up, worth knowing if you've got a younger one who'll need to stick to the pool or the crèche instead.

There's free parking and bike parking on site, wifi if you need to get some work done while they're at lessons, and it's reachable by public transport too. Food is available on site, which takes the pressure off if you're there for a few hours across a swim and a coaching session.

It works best as a membership or regular-visit kind of place rather than a one-off day trip, given the mix of coaching, classes and crèche on offer.
