What it’s like
Indoor and outdoor pools, swimming lessons and a crèche mean you can hand the kids over and get to a yoga class yourself.
This is a members' club rather than a pay-and-go pool, so the point of it is the whole day sorted under one roof. There are indoor and outdoor pools with a splash pool for smaller kids, proper swimming lessons if you want them learning rather than just paddling, and tennis coaching that covers all levels, not just the keen ones.
The bit that actually changes your day is the kids' club and crèche. Drop them there and you can get into a group cycling or yoga class without anyone hanging about at the poolside bored. It only works if the sessions run when you need them though, and that's not something spelled out here, so it's worth ringing to check timings before you build a morning around it.
Parking is free and on-site, which is one less thing to think about, and there's a café and restaurant for afterwards. Membership clubs like this usually mean a joining process rather than turning up on the day.

Plan your visit
Do we need to be members to visit?
It's set up as a members' club rather than pay-as-you-go, so this is somewhere you join rather than drop into once.
Is there a kids' club or crèche?
Both are on offer, which is what makes this different from just taking the kids swimming, you can leave them and get to a class yourself.
What's there for children to do?
Indoor and outdoor pools with splash pools, swimming lessons, and tennis coaching across levels.
Is parking easy?
Free on-site parking, no need to factor that into the cost of the day.
