What it’s like
A theatre box office for pantomime and family shows, with wheelchair access and a lift to the auditorium.
This is the booking end of a theatre rather than a soft play or a farm, so what you're actually planning for is a seated show, a pantomime most likely given the category, with an interval and a proper sit-down rather than anything hands-on. There's a lift to the auditorium and two wheelchair spaces with companion seats, plus accessible toilets on the ground floor, so if anyone in your party needs step-free access that's covered.
The office itself keeps odd hours for a parent trying to book around a school run: open till 4pm early week, cutting off at 2pm Thursday and Friday, and shut altogether on Saturday. You can book online, by phone or in person, but there's a £2 admin fee if you do it online, which is a small sting on top of whatever the ticket costs. Refunds aren't offered unless the performance itself is cancelled, so if your evening falls through for any other reason you're stuck, though there is third-party ticket insurance on offer if you'd rather not risk it.
There's a café on site for the usual interval coffee, and assistance dogs are welcome if you need one along. HYNT Cards are accepted too, which is worth knowing if you use one for a carer going free.
