What it’s like

Eleven bubble-themed rooms, a ball pit you wade through and a VR room for over-eights, in about 90 minutes.

You go room to room through eleven bubble-themed sets, and it's a one-way route, so the pace is yours once you're in. The bubble bath ball pit is the one your kids will talk about on the way home, and socks are compulsory in there. There's a robot-led bubble show, a wall where you draw something and watch it come to life, and photo stops everywhere. Under-threes go free.

The VR room is solo from age 8, which is worth knowing before you promise it to a six-year-old. Younger kids won't get much out of a few of the installations, and strobe lights are used in the experience, so have a think if anyone's sensitive to that. Tickets start at £13.90 for a child and £17.90 for an adult online, and booking is required. VIP tickets add the VR and a poster.

Allow 60 to 90 minutes. Only card is accepted, for tickets, merch and the drinks at the end. No refunds, though you can move your date or time up to 48 hours before. Parties get the full experience plus a decorated private room for 30 minutes with a host, soft drinks and tableware; minimum seven tickets, and they can't be booked by email.

Access is mostly fine, but Bubble Ocean and Bubble Bath aren't wheelchair accessible and some areas have stairs. Prams, suitcases and bulky items aren't allowed inside; there's a storage area for £3 and lockers at the entrance. No parking at the venue, with car parks about 0.4 miles away, but Wembley Park tube is an eight-minute walk.

Plan your visit

How much is it?

From £13.90 for a child and £17.90 for an adult online. Under-threes are free. VIP tickets cost more and include the VR room, skip-the-line for it and a poster.

Do we need to book?

Yes, buy in advance. Walk-up tickets depend on capacity on the day, so I wouldn't bank on it.

How long does it take?

About 60 to 90 minutes. It's a one-way route but you can stay as long as you like in each room.

Can we turn up late?

Arrive within the time on your ticket, or up to 30 minutes after it.

Can my eight-year-old do the VR alone?

The VR room is solo from age 8. Younger children can't do it on their own.

Is there anywhere to leave the pram?

Prams, suitcases and bulky items aren't allowed inside. There's a storage area for £3 and lockers at the entrance.

Can we pay cash?

Card only, for tickets, merch and food and drink.

What if we need to change the date?

No refunds, but you can move your date or time up to 48 hours before your slot.

Can we bring our own food?

Not into the experience. You can bring your own food and drink if you've booked the party room. Otherwise there are drinks on sale at the end of the exhibit, and no bubble tea for under-sixes.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Mostly, but Bubble Ocean and Bubble Bath aren't accessible and some areas have stairs. A carer goes free with documentation, and the disabled ticket is reduced.

Is there parking?

None at the venue. Nearby car parks are about 0.4 miles away. Wembley Park tube is an eight-minute walk, and buses 92, 206 and 440 stop close by.

Can we book a birthday party?

Yes, but not by email. Packages include the full experience plus a decorated private Birthday Room for 30 minutes with a host, decorations, soft drinks and tableware. Minimum seven tickets, and VIP adds the VR and a green screen photo.
