Boom Battle Bar Watford

Watford
What it’s like
Shuffleboard from £3 a person, games from £5, and a £10 tenders-and-fries deal if you're staying a while.
This one's an adults-only bar, over-18s only, so leave the kids at home and treat it as a night out rather than a family trip. The format is games plus drinks: shuffleboard is the cheapest way in at £3 a person, and the other games start around £5 each. If you're booking for a group, the BOOM Bundle at £27.50 a head covers a game, drinks and street food in one go, which saves you doing the maths at the bar.
Doors run from noon every day. Friday and Saturday it stays open until 1am, Sunday closes at 10pm, and Monday to Thursday packs up at 11. A midweek evening is the calmer pick if you want the shuffleboard table without waiting; Friday and Saturday are the late ones for a proper session.
The £10 BOOM Meal Deal is chicken tenders, fries and a house drink, which is decent value next to the bundle and easier if you've already eaten. There are vegetarian options too. It's card only, so don't turn up with cash, and they do take group bookings and run birthday parties if you're organising something for a crowd.
There's parking and it's on public transport, and you can join a membership scheme if you end up going often.
