What it’s like
Four levels of soft play, a four-lane slide and a climbing wall under one roof, with an outdoor area for when the sun's out.
This is the sort of soft play that doesn't get boring after twenty minutes. Four levels of structures, a four-lane astra slide that'll get raced more than once, a climbing wall, trampolines, cave crawls and log ramps to work through, plus roleplay rooms and creative play areas for the ones who'd rather build than bounce. There's a proper toddler-friendly section with low platforms too, so a one-year-old and an eight-year-old can both be occupied without one of them getting flattened by the other.
Sessions run two hours and you book online in advance, which is a bit of a faff if you're the sort who decides on a whim, but it does mean you're not turning up to find it rammed. Peak time is £8.50 a child, off-peak drops to £6.50, and under six months goes free. If you're a regular, the off-peak annual pass at £29.95 a child works out sensible if you're in more than a handful of times a year.
Socks are required and it's £1.75 for a disposable pair if you've forgotten yours, so worth chucking a pair in the bag. Outside food isn't allowed in, but there's a café doing hot food and proper coffee, and the midweek 3:30 to 5:30 deal (hot meal, drink and ice cream for £5) is the one to time your visit around if you can. There's an outdoor play area too, though that one shuts if the weather turns nasty on the day.
Parties start from £12.50 a child with a minimum of 10 kids, and you get a dedicated host, a private party area, food and drink included, and a farm shop gift to take home. It's a fair chunk of admin to organise for ten-plus kids, but it does mean you're not running the show yourself for two hours.
