What it’s like
Ten-pin bowling and an arcade prizes counter under one roof, with party packages built around both.
Five bowling lanes and a Prizes arcade counter make up the two things you actually do here: knock down pins, then go and win something plastic and slightly pointless on the redemption games. It suits the 6 to 17 bracket the site lists, so this is one for kids old enough to keep score and not the toddler set.
Parties are clearly the main event. A Pins bowling party runs from £18.99 a child and a Prizes arcade party from £16.99, both with a pizza buffet thrown in, and they want a minimum of 6 to 12 children on the guest list. If you're weighing up the two, the arcade option is the cheaper route in but the bowling one gets you the lanes as well as the games, which feels like the better use of a Saturday afternoon.
There's no booking link listed, so you'll need to ring or call in to sort a party or a lane. Opening hours shift a bit: weekdays in term time it's midday to 10pm, but weekends and school holidays it opens at 10am, useful to know if you were hoping for an early slot on a Tuesday and turned up to a locked door.
Parking is free after 6pm every day, which is handy for an evening game but means daytime visits come with a parking cost to factor in. There are also Team Night Out and Let's Celebrate packages running from £20.99 to £25.99 a head, which read as the option for a bigger group rather than a straightforward kids' party.
