What it’s like

Weekly baby and toddler classes split by age, from newborn development sessions to confidence games for almost-threes.

These are age-banded classes rather than a drop-in play session, and that split is the whole point. Infants from birth get gentle developmental activities and exercises pitched at that stage, Toddlers move into themes built around language and social skills, and Juniors get games designed to build confidence physically and socially as they head towards three. If you've got more than one small child you'll be doing more than one class, since the age bands don't overlap.

The timetable runs Monday to Friday, with the same three sessions each day: Juniors first thing, then Toddlers, then Infants last. Monday to Thursday it's 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30, and Friday shifts everything ten minutes later to 9:40, 10:40 and 11:40. That consistency makes it easy to build into a week, though it does mean there's no weekend option if that's what you were after.

Rather than paying for a full term upfront, there's a monthly plan that spreads the cost across the year. Worth knowing before you sign up: your first payment includes an extra month's deposit, which is held to cover the 30-day notice period when you eventually leave, so you're not paying twice for the same period. Cancelling is done online through your account rather than in person, which is handy if you'd rather sort it at home than have an awkward conversation after class.
