This is a party studio rather than a soft play or a farm, and it's built entirely around messy, open-ended art. Younger children (the Play Party, for 1 to 5 year olds) get free-flow play with open materials, while the older group (Create Party, 5 to 11) do more structured workshops. Either way, the bit everyone remembers is the signature 3D cardboard cake, which each child gets to paint themselves rather than just eat a slice of.
An Arty Party runs 1.5 hours: 60 minutes of art, then 30 minutes for food and cleanup, and you get exclusive use of the studio for that slot. Party hosts can turn up half an hour early to set up decorations, which is a decent perk when you're wrangling balloons and a cake box at the same time. Play Parties take up to 15 children, Create Parties up to 12, and you can add more for an extra fee per child if your guest list runs long.
£295 is the starting price, and that's before any extras, so this sits at the pricier end for a party of this length. The birthday child's siblings come free, though the site is clear they still count towards your total headcount, which catches people out when they're doing the maths on numbers. If you want a mobile version at your own venue, be warned the flooring needs to be wipeable, no carpets, since paint and carpet were never going to be friends.
Booking is required and parties are limited to a small number each month, so this isn't something you can leave until the week before. Deposits are £80, and you get a full refund if you cancel at least 28 days out; cancel with 2 to 4 weeks' notice and the deposit becomes non-refundable but transferable to a new date within six months.
