The Dock Studio, close to the centre in Liverpool, runs weekly screen acting classes plus a Youth Acting Course for 12 to 17 year olds, working on auditions and self-tape skills, the sort of thing agents actually ask for now. It's aimed squarely at teens rather than younger children, so this isn't the pick if you've got a toddler wanting to dress up and perform. It's indoor, so weather's never a factor, and it's only a couple of kilometres out, easy enough for an after-school run. If your child's already thinking about drama school or screen work, this is the more useful route in than a general am-dram class.
