Ice Rinks in Leicester

If you're after ice specifically, Leicester itself doesn't have a rink listed, so both options here mean a trip out of the city. Midlands Roller Arena, out at Lutterworth, is roller rather than ice, with sessions from £7, a Roller Disco with lights and games, and lessons if nobody in your group has worn skates before. There's free parking, a cafe and party rooms if you're going for a birthday. A longer trip out to Nottingham gets you the Winter Wonderland on Old Market Square, where entry itself is free. For toddlers or first-timers, the lessons at Lutterworth are the gentler option, and the indoor setting means weather isn't a factor. For older kids or a group session, the Roller Disco has more energy to it. Nottingham's site is outdoor and seasonal, worth it for the Observation Wheel and market stalls, but skating there and the Sky Skate both come as paid extras once you're through the free entry, so budget for that on top.
