Dance in Glasgow

Two proper options here, both close to the centre in Dennistoun-ish parts of Glasgow rather than out of town. Dance HQ runs kids' dance classes and choreographed birthday parties, with prices from £10 and trial sessions if your child isn't sure yet, open to ages 2 and up. Glasgow Dance Academy covers ballet, jazz, acro and musical theatre for ages 3 to 18, and lets you try it for two weeks before you commit to a term. If you have a toddler, Dance HQ's age 2+ classes and on-site food make it the easier first visit, especially with a party to arrange too. For older children who want to specialise, the Academy's spread of styles and longer trial period gives more room to find what actually suits them before you pay for a full term. Both are genuine trial-first setups, so there's little risk in just turning up to see how your child takes to it.
