Williamson Open 2026

Annual open exhibition of art and photography by Liverpool City Region artists, free entry.

The Williamson Open returns for 2026, bringing together art and photography made by artists from across the Liverpool City Region into one exhibition at the Williamson Art Gallery in Birkenhead. It's free to visit and open during normal gallery hours, running from 24 July to 10 October 2026. Many of the artworks on show are for sale, and you can browse and buy them either in person at the gallery or through the online catalogue. For in-gallery purchases, the gallery also offers the Own Art scheme, an Arts Council England backed initiative letting buyers take out an interest-free loan from £250, repayable over 10 months (this doesn't apply to online purchases).
