Major free exhibition of over 60 works by British artist Leonard McComb RA, with a timed entry slot to book.

The Williamson Art Gallery & Museum hosts the largest ever exhibition of work by Leonard McComb RA (1930-2018), bringing together more than 60 pieces spanning painting, watercolour, drawing and sculpture. Alongside works from the artist's estate there are loans from major collections including Manchester Art Gallery and the Royal Academy, plus 'Rock and Sea Anglesey', a drawing on loan from Oriel Môn that measures over 10 metres long and is the largest drawing on paper held by any UK public collection. The show focuses on McComb's ecological outlook and his depiction of the beauty, energy and interconnectedness of life across portraits, still life, landscape and sculpture. Entry is free but visitors need to book a time slot in advance. Alongside the main exhibition there are extra events including curator tours on 2nd September and 2nd October, an Art Meets Mindfulness yoga and sound bath session on 3rd September, and Landlines Studio workshops on 19th September and 3rd and 17th October.
