West End Fair

An arts and craft village in St John's churchyard at Princes St and Lothian Road, running daily through August.

The West End Fair sets up in the grounds of St John's Church, right on the corner of Princes St and Lothian Road, for the full run of the Edinburgh Festival. Spread across five different levels of the churchyard, it brings together over 120 designers, makers and artists, each selling their own handmade work rather than bought-in stock. It's open every day from 3rd to 30th August 2026, 11am to 6pm, so there's plenty of chance to fit it in around other festival plans. Expect to browse original art, craft and design pieces direct from the people who made them, in a setting that's part of the city centre but tucked into the quiet of the church grounds.
