Candlelit carol singing in the Witch's Cave at Treak Cliff Cavern, with mulled wine and mince pies after.
A Piano Accordionist leads familiar Christmas carols in the Witch's Cave, which is lit with thousands of fairy lights and candles for a festive atmosphere. The singing lasts about an hour, followed by hot mulled wine and mince pies in the entrance seating area. Carol sheets are provided and it runs on weekends throughout December. Singing begins at 2pm, but you're asked to arrive from 1.30pm to allow time for the steep climb up to the cavern entrance and further up to the candlelit chamber. Children aged 4 and under go free and don't need tickets. This is a standing-only event with no wheelchair access, and dogs are not allowed in the cavern for the carol singing. Dress for cold and possibly wet conditions underground, and book online in advance as there are no refunds due to limited ticket numbers.
