The Listening Room

An intimate singer-songwriter night in the Talisman Theatre foyer with four live acts and a licensed bar.

The Listening Room returns to the Talisman Theatre's foyer for an evening dedicated to original singer-songwriters. Hosted by local musician Daniel Barrie, the night brings together four performers, Milda, John Oswin, Tom Brannan and Daniel Barrie himself, each sharing their songs along with the stories behind them. Expect a cosy, stripped-back set-up with soft lighting and an intimate atmosphere rather than a big stage show. It's a seated evening in the foyer with the licensed bar open throughout, so you can get a drink and settle in with friends. Tickets are £10 each and strictly limited, with the previous three Listening Room nights selling out, so advance booking through the box office is recommended. Two wheelchair spaces are available and can be booked by contacting the box office directly.
