16-18 year old training course

Full-time study programme at Sunderland's training farm for 16-18 year olds working towards a career in animal care.

This is a full-time study programme for 16 to 18 year olds at Sunderland Training and Education Farm, leading to an apprenticeship in animal care. Students work towards Level 1, 2 or 3 work-based learning qualifications in animal care, equine, veterinary nursing or horticulture, with sessions running on Monday mornings from 9am to 12pm alongside other weekday sessions. It suits young people who want hands-on experience with animals rather than a classroom-only course. Email stefjc@hotmail.co.uk to find out about the next start date and apply.
