Vikings at Sherwood Pines with Regia Anglorum

Living-history camp and a battle each afternoon as re-enactors Regia Anglorum celebrate 40 years at Sherwood Pines. Free to watch.

Over a hundred re-enactors from Regia Anglorum set up camp on the field by the cafe at Sherwood Pines for their 40th birthday weekend. Wander through the living-history camp and watch blacksmiths, weavers, cooks and carpenters at work the way they would have been a thousand years ago. Warriors take to the arena through the day, with a major battle each afternoon. Activity runs from 10am to 4pm on both days. The event is free and hosted by Forestry England. Normal Sherwood Pines car parking charges apply.
