Relaxed film screenings at Picturehouse FACT for neurodivergent audiences, people living with dementia, and their families and carers.

This is a regular relaxed screening slot at Picturehouse at FACT Liverpool, designed to make cinema-going easier for anyone who needs extra support. Films are shown with no adverts or trailers, the lights stay on low, the volume is turned down, and you're free to move around or take a break from the screen whenever you need to. It's aimed at neurodivergent audiences of all ages and people living with dementia, along with their families, friends and carers, though everyone is welcome. A new release is typically shown every second Monday of the month, but the venue notes the slot can occasionally shift, so it's sensible to check the current listings before heading down. Wheelchair access, hearing loops, audio description and accessible toilets are available throughout the cinema, and guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
