These relaxed screenings are designed to make a cinema trip easier for neurodivergent audiences of all ages, people living with dementia, and their families, friends and carers, though everyone is welcome. Films are shown without adverts or trailers, the lights stay on low, the volume is turned down, and you're free to move around, make noise or step out and come back whenever you need to. The usual pattern is a family-friendly film on the third Sunday of the month and a classic film with an interval on the last Friday of the month, though the slot can occasionally change, so it's a good idea to check the current listings before you head out.
