Adults only (18+)

An 18-30s climate emotions listening circle round the campfire at Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve, free to attend.

This is an 18-30 only session for anyone who lives, works or studies in Warwickshire, Coventry or Solihull, offering a calm, confidential space to talk through worries about climate change, nature loss and the wider state of the world. It meets outside the visitor centre at Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve before heading down to a campfire area under a tarpaulin shelter, with garden chairs, camping chairs, logs and blankets to sit on. Facilitators run the group with no advice-giving, no guest speakers and no pressure to take action, sometimes bringing natural objects to help people open up, and the group closes to new arrivals 5 to 10 minutes after the start once everyone has agreed how the session will work. Teas and coffees are provided, and there is a chance to explore the reserve afterwards if you fancy it. Free transport can be arranged from Coventry Train Station on request by emailing yc@wkwt.org.uk. The site can get muddy, so old trainers, wellies or walking boots and clothes you don't mind getting messy are recommended, along with layers for changing weather, since sessions go ahead in rain or shine unless there's a genuine health risk. Only assistance dogs are permitted, and there's free on-site parking.
