Exhibition at the Faith Museum marking 500 years since Tyndale's English New Testament translation.

This exhibition tells the story of William Tyndale, whose English translation of the New Testament was banned by the authorities and smuggled into England, going on to shape the English Reformation and the language itself. On display is an edition of Tyndale's New Testament produced just months before his execution as a heretic, shown alongside other rare sixteenth-century Bibles. It runs at the Faith Museum within Auckland Palace and is included with Faith Museum admission, so there's no extra charge to see it.
